Event Description

Access this new Planning for Higher Education article by SCUPers Linda Baer and Ann Duin Hill: "Retain Your Students! The Analytics, Policies, and Politics of Reinvention Strategies."

SCUP authors Linda Baer and Ann Duin Hill focus on reinvention for retention, sharing brief vignettes from both Southern New Hampshire University and Arizona State University, and sharing information about Predictive Analytics Reporting (PAR) framework, its Student Success Matrix, and more.

The video will be presented live on this Mojo page. You are able to comment or ask questions at the bottom of that page. The comments will be monitored during the event.

Change in higher education is real. ... The change to date has often been tweaking around the margins without really facing up to the massive change needed to adequately serve the students of today and the future.

In this paper, we share perspectives on the importance of a three part strategy for reinvention that includes analytics, policies and politics required for launching, nurturing and sustaining change in higher education.

Nonmembers will have access to this article, in order to prepare for a live video Planning Interview this Thursday at 1 pm. The authors will be joined by other experts for a discussion of their paper.
